The following are questions that may be asked as you attempt to diagnose an Adaptive Challenge:
What is the purpose of the organization? Is the purpose consistent with the members' behaviors?
- Are the priorities of the organization changing?
- Are the conditions of the environment changing?
- What is my "stake" in the problem?
- Who else is involved in the problem? What do other stakeholders want? What do they fear?
- Are people "avoiding the issue"? How can you tell?
- What has been tried? What failed?
