Polaris

Polaris is a lively and flexible training workshop designed to help employees better understand engagement. The program can be structured to run three or six hours, depending on time availability and interest in-depth engagement discussions. The main objective of Polaris is to introduce the engagement phenomenon to all organizational members. Thus, while the program is particularly useful for leaders of all levels, it can also be valuable for employees in general.

The program features a “space exploration theme” and a lively simulation that mimics the dangers of disengagement. Participants “become” the crew of the Polaris spaceship. Its mission is to explore a new space colony designed to save the human race.

We have designed a comprehensive Polaris facilitator’s manual. With the Polaris manual, you will be able to:
  • Customize Polaris to fit your own needs and time constraints.
  • Use your own internal training resources to run the program in-house.
  • Break Polaris into various mini sessions for greater reinforcement and effectiveness.
  • Incorporate Polaris in your employee orientation sessions or as an additional module for your existing leadership development programs.

No certification is necessary. The facilitator’s instructions include comprehensive information needed to run the Polaris simulation and conduct a complete Polaris workshop. TEG’s senior consultants, however, are available to

  • Run your first Polaris session as you observe.
  • Help you customize the program to your own needs.
  • Provide additional coaching and consulting assistance, as needed.
